Taunton Literary Festival, 16 November

August 23, 2018

Great evening at the Taunton Literary Festival. It’s a wonderful festival organised by the indefatigable Lionel Ward, owner of Brendon Books. I talked on gravitational waves – the voice of space. I enjoyed it very much and I think the audience did too. At least, they fired questions at me – including the obligatory ‘Do you believe in God?’ question – for half an hour, before we had to wind up so I could get the late train back to London. Thanks to Lionel for inviting me and for a really enjoyable evening.

Here I am on the bottom right!

Bring me sunshine! At the end of my talk, I seem to be doing a dance routine with Festival organiser Lionel Ward!
